Valley bridge carries out emergency drill for falling accidents

In order to strengthen the safety production management of the project and further improve the anti risk ability of the project in response to emergencies and the emergency rescue and disposal ability of safety accidents, on November 2, the valley bridge project carried out a high-altitude falling emergency drill in Gucheng T-beam Prefabrication Yard. The event was hosted by CCCC Xiangyang investment and Construction Co., Ltd. and Gucheng County Highway Construction and maintenance center, undertaken by the General Contracting Department of Valley Bridge and the project management department of Valley West extension line, and participated by all employees of Valley Bridge project department. At the beginning of the drill, the operators slipped and fell from height during the mechanical maintenance. The on-site safety officer shall immediately notify the electrician to cut off the power and report level by level, and finally start the accident emergency rescue plan with the approval of the emergency commander in chief. The emergency rescue team, medical rescue team, security team, technical support team and comprehensive coordination team shall rush to the site immediately after receiving the order. All departments at the drill site worked in a coordinated and orderly manner. Finally, the injured were sent to the hospital by ambulances and medical personnel. The injured were successfully rescued and the site was restored to a controllable state. The emergency commander in chief announced the lifting of the emergency action of falling from height. At the end of the drill, director Guo of the director's office of the West extension line made a summary speech on the drill. The drill tested the scientificity and operability of the emergency plan for high-altitude falling accidents of the River Valley Bridge Project Department, achieved the drill effect of rapid response, smooth instructions, clear responsibilities and orderly organization, and strengthened the safety red line awareness of all operators of the project department.
